No charge for snooker players

Two snooker stars detained by police after alleged irregular betting patterns before a UK Championship match in Telford have been released without charge.
Stephen Maguire, 28, and Jamie Burnett, 33, were helping officers with their inquiries in connection with the match in December last year at the Telford International Centre.
A spokesman for Strathclyde police confirmed today the two players had been released without charge after questioning.
