Shrewsbury had to settle for a point at home to Chesterfield – as Steve Leslie’s first half goal was cancelled out in the second period.
Home-grown youngster Leslie, only recalled to the side after the 5-0 drubbing at Dagenham on Tuesday, got the game off to a flier for Town.
But James Lowry ensured the Spireites got a share of the spoils.
