Letter: Backing fight for answers
Thursday 20th August 2009, 6:59AM BST.
Letter: Thanks to Des James, father of the late Cheryl James, for reminding us of the four unexplained deaths at Deepcut Army Barracks between 1995 and 2002.
It’s hard to believe that the unexplained questions have not been answered yet.
Des James displays remarkable restraint and tolerance in a situation where his daughter signed up in good faith as a soldier for this country and has ended up as a political embarrassment.
What chance for other soldiers’ parents pushing for investigations in far-off places while this remains unresolved.

I agree with Sid,our youngsters deserve better if they are to sacrifice their lives, a shameful cover up by the MOD and our government.
