Four trapped after road crash
Thursday 20th August 2009, 4:27PM BST.
Four people were trapped in their cars this afternoon after a serious road traffic collision near Oswestry.
Firefighters, paramedics and the county air ambulance were called to the scene at Halton, near Chirk, on the A483, at 2.55pm.
Firefighters from Oswestry, Wellington and Shrewsbury were sent out and were using special cutting gear to release those trapped.
Three land ambulances and the County Air Ambulance from Cosford are also at the scene.
