Wednesday 19th August 2009, 3:10PM BST.
A man was assaulted by a group of youths in Telford as he went to look for his daughter’s stolen bike.
The bike was stolen from an address in Ketley on Sunday afternoon.
The girl’s father – a 40 year-old man – went to look for the bike.
He drove to Wombridge Park where he found a group of about 12 youths on bikes and saw what he believed was his daughter’s bike.
The man took the bike and began loading it into his car when two of the youths from the group attacked him.
The man suffered facial injuries.
