Dog of the Week: Wally

Friday 14th August 2009, 10:18AM BST.

wallyThis week’s Shropshire Star Dog of the Week is Wally, a twelve year old crossbreed who is looking for a quiet home to spend his retirement.

Wally has been looking for a home since June when he was handed into Dogs Trust Roden as a stray.

He is very well mannered, good on the lead and enjoys meeting other dogs in the park, although he would prefer to be the only dog in the house.

Dogs Trust Roden Manager, Louise Campbell, said: “Wally is a lovely chap and we would love to find him a home where any children are over the age of 16 and his new family can help him enjoy the rest of his life and give him the love he deserves.”

If you think you could be Wally’s new owner, please visit Dogs Trust Roden, Roden Lane Farm, Telford, or call 01952 770225.
