A 46-year-old man has admitted robbing a Shropshire petrol station armed with an imitation firearm.
Terence Ecclestone, of High Street, Broseley, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday in connection with the raid at Nix Service Station, which is a BP service station in Forton Road, Newport.
He admitted robbing Charlotte Lovatt of £140 on March 15 and being in possession of a firearm, a black cap gun, at the time.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be drawn up and Ecclestone was remanded in custody until September 7.
