So I take it that twelve good men and true are not competant enough to judge a mans guilt or innocence we have to rely on a group of people who we have seen over the past months have dipped their sticky fingers into the public purse to fund lifestyles that many can but dream about.

Apparently innocence is not a defence these days. I remember the headlines of another case when a dozen students from Pakistan were rounded up and front page headlines of “Major Easter attack foiled” were all over the media. Within a few days, these men were all quietly released because they were innocent. The government though wanted them deported on “national security” issues. Rather than admit to rounding up innocent people, they would much prefer to have them deported so they could not speak out. If the government has it’s way, trial by jury will be scrapped and being accused will be enough to convict you. Unfortunately, the media seems intent on destroying this man by producing his photo, which will no doubt result in complications to his work and possibly his family. Good luck Mr Asha.
