Unlucky Wolves ended their pre-season programme on a losing note after going down to Real Valladolid at Molineux.
Goals by Haris Medunjanin in the 29th minute and Asier Arranz Martin two minutes from time sealed a breakaway win by the Spanish side, in a game when the home side forced by far the most chances.
Club-record £6.5m signing Kevin Doyle even saw a 72nd minute penalty saved by keeper Justo Villar Viveros, after a mysterious handball offence.
