Appeal for missing Tracy
Monday 10th August 2009, 12:52PM BST.
Concern was growing today for a 29-year-old Shropshire woman missing from home since Saturday.
Police fear she may have fallen and hurt herself.
Tracy Gough, 29, from Ludlow, is thought to have travelled to Shrewsbury on Saturday. It’s believed she may then have walked for some distance, possibly to the Cockshutt area.
She rang police on her mobile shortly before 10pm on Saturday, saying she was lost and suggesting she may have fallen and hurt herself.
Inspector Rik Klair said: “Tracy is considered to be vulnerable and is classified as a high risk missing person.
“She was last seen at a bus stop in the Shelton area of Shrewsbury at around 6pm on Saturday. It’s thought she may have made her way on foot into the north Shropshire area, walking through Harmer Hill towards Cockshutt.
“She thought she could also hear music and possibly the sound of fireworks. So if anyone was staging a party in that area on Saturday night, please contact Shrewsbury police station on 0300-333-3000.”
