Paraglider dies in accident

Sunday 9th August 2009, 9:36AM BST.

One man has died and another has been injured in a mid-air collision involving two paragliders in Shropshire.
The accident happened on the Long Mynd shortly before 2.15pm yesterday.
Despite attempts by paramedics to save the man he died shortly afterwards.
The second man, who is believed to be in his 40s or 50s, suffered serious leg and internal injuries.
