Policeman in car drama
Saturday 8th August 2009, 10:44AM BST.
A policeman was injured after he dived out the way of a car which drove at him at speed in Newport.
The officer had been attempting to flag down the blue series 1 BMW when the incident happened in High Street at about 1.40am today.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police today said the officer managed to take evasive action to avoid the car and suffered minor injuries.
