Letter: Thanks for helping my son

LETTER: I would like through the letters page to send thanks to the very kind gentleman who, on July 24, picked up my very cut, bleeding and bruised son from outside Hadley Learning Community and brought him home together with his bike, which he had put into the back of his car.
I cannot express enough thanks to this gentleman. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to get his name as my son was standing dripping with blood in the kitchen.
Might I add that my son is recovering well and luckily needed no stitches. He did give the bike a wide berth for a week or so, though.
This act of kindness did restore my faith in society when there is so much doom and gloom around. Again, many thanks to you.
