Graham Windsor, from Windsor’s Cheese, which won awards for its single farmhouse traditional cheshire cheese, praised the show. He said: “We are pleased to have won some awards because these are the best cheeses in the world, so to get a prize here is a great accomplishment and it’s down to the dedication of our staff making the cheese, so it’s nice for them to see some success.”

Mr Tebbutt said he had enjoyed tasting some quality cheese at the show.

“It’s a great chance for the public to see what’s available; they get to try things that normally they would not be able to taste,” he said. “There’s such a huge variety and if you are keen you get the chance to learn more about the cheeses and about how you make them.”
