We’ve received this video showing the Newport Carnival – but we don’t know who to thank because the sender did not include his or her details.

We can tell you that the video was taken at last month’s event using a process called timelapse. This involves taking an image at a set time – every two seconds, for example – and then playing the video at normal speed. The result makes it look as though the scene has been speeded-up.

We can also tell you that the music is called “(Don’t Tell Me) I’m Wrong” and it’s by Telford band Fake Obsession.

As to who sent in the video – I’m afraid we can tell you nothing. Perhaps someone out there can help?
