Man convicted of WPc’s murder

A gangster was today convicted of the murder of Constable Sharon Beshenivsky who was shot dead during a bungled armed robbery at a travel agents.
Mustaf Jama, 29, was part of a gang that gunned down the popular officer and wounded her colleague, Constable Teresa Milburn, during the raid in Bradford in November 2005.
Jama was convicted at Newcastle Crown Court following a retrial after a jury failed to reach a verdict at a trial in January.
