New market boss resigns
Tuesday 21st July 2009, 2:23PM BST.
Ludlow’s new market manager has quit – after just two days in the post.
The woman started work at Ludlow Town Council last Monday, but left by Wednesday morning.
Clerk Veronica Calderbank told the policy and finance committee yesterday: “The workload is tremendous and it’s not the work she thought it was going to be.”
The council is now reviewing its recruitment process. The position became vacant after Roy Guestford stepped down because of ill health.
