Lyneham once told me they were tracking an unidentified object in my vicinity - it turned out to be a lorry on the M4, not a UFO! The Exif data on the photo should give an exact time for the photo - why "about 10.30"? Sunset at Fitz on 12 July was 21.30Zulu, so hangliders could be up legally until 10.00pm. I recently saw it a full hour before the sunset. it moves slowly on constant observation, but slips out of view after 20-30 minutes. it looks almost identical, I shot very similar photos with my canon 5D MK II camera and zoomed in the same way. I can see how it might be confusing, it's certainly startling to see a celestial object before the sun sets completely! As a previous comment stated it's a poor example of a 'UFO' Could even be Photoshop as it doesn't much look like a proffesional shot either as their is nothing of interest in the photo apart from a blurred dark background and a big cloud.
