Garden club’s show schedules

Wednesday 15th July 2009, 4:00PM BST.

Show schedules are now ready for Wrockwardine and District Garden Club’s 20th Summer Show, which takes place at Wrockwardine Village Hall on Saturday, August 8, 2009.

Staging takes place between 9am and 1pm. Then the show is open for viewing and sideshows from 2.30pm until 5pm.

There are sections including showing of flowers, vegetables, fruit, domestic, handicrafts, floral art and children’s classes – over 90 classes to choose from.

Last year there was over 600 quality entries from local amateur gardeners and entrants. It makes a fabulous day out for all the family.

Free admission for all to view the show, 10p per entry to exhibit, children’s section free. All children under 16 get a goody bag if they enter their section.

Wrockwardine & District Garden Club meets on the first Thursday of each month at Wrockwardine Parish Hall, 7.30pm for 7.45pm start.
