Four crews tackle barn blaze

Four fire crews were called to tackle a blaze in a barn near Bridgnorth this morning after hay and straw caught fire.
The fire was at a commercial property in Danford Lane, Upper Ludstone.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service was called out to the address at 10.47am today.
Crews from Bridgnorth, Tettenhall near Wolverhampton, Clun and the incident commander from Shrewsbury were called to the scene.
The fire service also sent a heavy pumping unit which was later stood down.
Crews were having to transport water to the scene from nearby open water sources to try and tackle the blaze which involved a four-bay barn and a quantity of hay and straw.
A spokeswoman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue said: “The fire is believed to be quite involved as four crews were sent to the scene.”
Crews were still trying to control the blaze more than an hour after receiving the call.
