Shrewsbury storm on – but Quatt out

There were contrasting fortunes for Shopshire’s two representatives in the latter stages of national competitions.
Shrewsbury maintained their impressive recent form with a last-over victory at Walsall to move into the last 16 of the National Club Knockout yesterday.
But Quatt’s dream of reaching Lord’s were ended in the last 16 stage when they suffered a home defeat to Lancashire side Great Eccelston.
