Inquiry as body found

police-lights3Police today said they were keeping an open mind, following the discovery of a body in woods near Leominster.

An inquiry was launched during the weekend after the body, believed to be that of a man, was discovered somewhere between Leominster station and the A49 bypass on Friday.

The body was found just before 3pm and it is thought it had been undiscovered for days. Police are treating the death as unexplained and are running tests to try to establish the man’s identity.
