Investigation into helicopter crash
Friday 10th July 2009, 10:30AM BST.
An investigation is under way after a helicopter crash at Mid Wales Airport in Powys.
Emergency services were called to the airport at Welshpool at 11.45am yesterday after reports the aircraft had crash landed.
Police, fire and ambulance services were on the scene and reported that two men were onboard but had escaped with minor injuries.
The Civil Aviation Authority has now been informed and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
