Wolves new boys to start

Thursday 9th July 2009, 10:35AM BST.

Wolves fans could get a glimpse of all Mick McCarthy’s new signings in action as the manager prepares to field his entire squad in tomorrow’s friendly against Perth Glory.

Nenad Milijas, Ronald Zubar and trialist Bobo Balde arrived last night and the Wolves boss intends to use as many players as possible in the opening friendly at the Members Equity Stadium.

“If I’ve enough numbers, I’ll play two teams, but it depends on who’s got a knock and if they have we can’t play them,” said McCarthy.

“I think I played 23 players in one game when I took charge of the Republic of Ireland so, if it’s ‘Sven’s rules’, I’ve done it before.”

The chances of the six new signings taking part will be decided when their fitness levels have been assessed.
