Town home to honesty

Oswestry has some of the most honest drivers in the country, according to a new report.
People parking in the town regularly pay the correct charges and very few stay longer than their ticket allows, the town council heard last night.
The authority heard that only a very small number of excess charge notices were issued in the past year. Just 30 people were taken to court for non-payment.
And councillors praised the parking warden for his vigilance.
