Montgomeryshire MP Lembit Opik has been spotted out on the town with former Wonderbra girl Katie Green.

According to reports, the Liberal Democrat has been dating the 21-year-old model since meeting at a party two months ago.

The 44-year-old, who has dated Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia and TV Weathergirl Sian Lloyd, was spotted enjoying a meal with Katie in London last Thursday.

The 5ft 10ins size 12 model left Wonderbra after refusing to cave into pressure to lose two stone and has now signed up with the bra firm’s rival Ultimo. Mr Opik was unavailable for comment today.

It was only this year that Mr Opik spoke of his “heartbreak” following his relationship split with Cheeky Girl Gabriela. He described Gabriela, 24, as being the “love of his life” after speaking for the first time since their split in July last year.

At the time, while some reports claimed he had been dumped, others suggested they were still an item, but she was refusing to see him or take his calls after a series of rows.

Mr Opik said: “Cheeky Gabriela was the love of my life.

“We’d met accidentally in 2006, during an infinitely long evening in West London after a Channel Five programme called The All Star Talent Show.

“I really enjoyed talking to Gabriela. The conversation was lively and varied. She wanted to learn more about my job as an MP, she talked about her life growing up in Romania and being a pop singer.”
