Toff Freddie up for boot again
Tuesday 30th June 2009, 10:35AM BST.
Unlucky Shropshire toff Freddie Fisher is up for eviction from the Big Brother house again – the fourth week in a row.
Housemates yesterday nominated the 23-year-old, now known in the house as Halfwit, for the chop alongside Sree Desari.
The arch rivals, who have continued to bicker in recent days, will face the public vote on Friday. But Freddie is favourite to survive and to even go on and win the show.
As he faces the boot for the fourth successive time, Anne Fisher, Freddie’s mum, of Oakley, near Market Drayton, told the Shropshire Star she is “very proud” of her son – but misses having him around.
Mrs Fisher said she thought her son has handled himself well, despite other housemates treating him unkindly. “I’m pleased for him that he’s stayed in, but we miss having him around,” she said.
Last week the public voted Angel for eviction over Freddie. Mrs Fisher said: “I was sorry to see Angel go. I thought she was an interesting person, and she and Freddie got on well.”
She added: “I think he’s done really well so far, I’m proud of the way he’s handled it.”
