Bittersweet return to West Mid Show

Shropshire farmer Mike Roberts made a bittersweet return to the West Mid Show – 12 months after scooping a top prize.

The Nobold-based farmer won the 2008 Dairy Interbreed title with his fourth calver Nobol Formation Penny.

But the loss of his prize cow after that win meant Mike was forced to field his “B Team” this year.

He was, however, happy with his results at a show that he believes is one of the best in the region.
