Two Shropshire entrepreneurs have launched a new self-service beer concept to the UK.Jordan Law, 24 and Marco Mustone, 24, have recently taken the UK distribution rights to launch Tabletap, a self-service draught beer product.

It is a new enterprise for the pair, with Jordan already running a highly successful mail-order business selling sports nutrition products, thesupplementstore.co.uk, from Shrewsbury, and Marco runs the established Enterprise Garage in Telford.

Jordan said: “We believe TableTap will revolutionise the bar and restaurant industry, providing customers with a convenient and engaging product that is yet to be seen here in the UK.

“Driven by advance technology, TableTap has been proven to dramatically increase draught beer sales, whilst helping to monitor and reduce costs at the same time.

“The response we are already getting since launching in early April has been extremely positive. We have secured a contract with a popular privately owned bar in central London for our mobile unit and are installing 22 Tabletaps at a new bar in Manchester due to open in early June.”

TableTap is a self-service beer dispensing system with automatic shut-off flow meter, designed to increase staff productivity and profitability whilst simultaneously monitoring and reducing wastage.

TableTap has been proven to increase customer loyalty, and can be installed on any chosen table along with a monitor displaying the amount of beer dispensed, tailored to individual requirements. This enables customers to keep track of how much has been used.

For the bar and pub owner, the technology which supports the TableTap system has been specifically designed to record every drop of beer as well as the frequency of use.

Accessible

The accuracy of the data that the system provides is instantly accessible at any time. The product design is totally flexible with each system bespoke to the individual customer. Jordan and Marco have sourced local and regional companies for components such as the joinery and taps.

Marco added: “The bar in Manchester will offer tapas where customers will be able to sit in stylish surroundings, pour their own beer at their table whilst enjoying something to eat. Pints are paid for in advance and loaded up by the bar tender.”
