Motorists face traffic misery on a Shropshire trunk road when eight weeks of resurfacing work starts on Wednesday.
The roadworks on the A49 will run until the end of August with traffic in both directions being subject to hold-ups from traffic signals and temporary speed limits.
Work will take place from Llandinabo to Harewood End, Woofferton to Upper Ashton, Leebotwood to All Stretton, Sheet Island to Ashford Bowdler, Church Stretton to Little Stretton and Bayston Hill to Condover.
Work will take place from 9.30am to 4pm and from 6pm to 10pm.
