The 55-year-old victim was left “extremely distressed” after being attacked as she walked with a friend along a path near Holmer Farm Road, Stirchley, yesterday.
The thief was white and wearing a long black leather jacket.
The woman’s handbag was found nearby, but two purses, containing £60 and bank cards, and a mobile phone were missing.
