Three budding Shropshire companies are just one step away from winning a £4,000 prize after reaching the final of the Shropshire Star’s Dragons Den-style competition.

And now it’s your turn to decide who scoops the title and gets the cash.

Shrewsbury-based Shoothill, Teeny Beanies from Telford and the Faction Bike Company, of Shrewsbury, are competing for the cash prize and priceless business support to help turn their dreams into reality.

We’re now handing the final decision over to you – you can see the three finalists video presentations of their ideas, read about their venture and check out their websites before casting your vote online.

We have an amazing array of entries for Star Idea 2009 and we want to thank everyone who took the time to enter.

We are also immensely grateful to our Dragons – Peter Pawsey, of the Rural Regeneration Zone, Diana Thompson, from the e-Innovation Centre in Telford, Ian Morris, of Turner Peachey chartered accountants, and Amy Bould, at the Shropshire Star, for giving their time to select the final three.

So we invite you to take a look at the enterprising ideas of the finalists and cast your vote.

The deadline for voting is midnight on July 2, and the winner will be announced at the Shropshire Business Awards 2009 on July 3.
