Murder case man in court

margaret-wycherley4A 44-year-old man today appeared in court charged with the murder of a 63-year-old Shropshire chimney sweep.

Gintautas Psenaska, a Lithuanian national, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court.

He is accused of murdering Margaret Wycherley of Castle Street, Oswestry, between May 30 and June 3.

Psenaska, of no fixed abode, spoke through an interpreter, to confirm his name and the fact that he understood the proceedings during the short hearing.

The case was adjourned for a plea and case management hearing on September 7. Psenaska was remanded in custody.
