Fantastic show, the Vulcan Bomber was the highlight of the show,no wonder crowds were big with XH558 being there.

Fabulous show but never mind the being unable to get in- we couldnt get out until 8pm due to the exit traffic jams! Luckily we had the remains of the picnic to keep us going along with a beautiful evening’s weather!

Awesome show but didnt enjoy being stuck in the car park for two hours trying to leave! They definately need to sort that out for next year!

I’m sure it was a great show but as one of the many thousands who couldn’t get in it was an incredible waste of time and money. The organisers need to have a serious rethink about the show and its logistics.
Suggestions: -
1 Make future shows ticket holders only. No pay on the day. (Same as Fairford).
2 Use more of the airfield for parking and exits.
3 Move the show to a bigger airfield. The Benevolent fund missed out on a lot of money yesterday and lost a lot of public goodwill.

Fantastic show, We didnt enjoy the wait to get out of the car park, didnt get back to our camp site until 9.00pm.
Arrived at the show at 08.45 and we thought it was pretty organised getting in but very chaotic getting out.
Feel really sorry for the people who missed a great air show.

The Eurofighter was truly, epic.
I personally ENJOYED being stuck in the traffic at the end.

having set out to go to N. Wales on sunday from Coventry, we read the signs for the Cosford air show on the motorway and read in the mail on Sunday that the Vulcan was to fly in, We foolishly joined the traffic jam for 3 1/2 hours only to end up hearing on the radio that we couldn’t get in the car park was full. So we ended up sitting on the side of the road as retired batty british picnic ers listening to the commentary on the radio and enjoyed every minute. We waited to see the fabulous Vulcan had our own grandstand seat for thr red Arrows, and headed off home before the traffic leaving the airfield. Great day , fabulous show. Well pleased we couldn’t get in and saved £40 into the bargain.

I seem to never have any problems getting in or out of Cosford, or is it that I put this sort of thing to part of the day and that I know the area. Flying display finishes and everyone goes into headless chicken mode to get off the station. Enjoy the evening, most stalls are still open for an hour or so more and then you can drive off quite easily.

slightly off topic perhaps but I saw a Vulcan at Farnborough air show in the early 60s when it was a test bed for the Olympus engine designed for Concord, It was mounted in the bomb bay.
The Vulcan flew past with just the Olympus engine running then shot up into a steep climb just like a fighter aircraft,a truly inspiring sight and indicative of what the aircraft industry was capable of until all funding was withdrawn for the development of new aircraft technology by the government.
