Town geared up for parade
Friday 12th June 2009, 2:23PM BST.
A parade of floats, marching bands and dancers will parade through Shrewsbury town centre tomorrow.
Shrewsbury Carnival will be led by the town crier Martin Wood and the junior town crier Rory Hosty.
The carnival starts in the Quarry at 10am and the parade will begin at 2pm.
During the parade, there will be several road closures.
