Big Brother halfwit’s anxious wait

Thursday 11th June 2009, 9:36AM BST.

The prospect of eviction for Market Drayton housemate Freddie Fisher was beginning to hit home last night when he confessed: “It’s pretty easy to get time on your own in here. Maybe I just repel people.”

The 23-year-old now faces an agonising wait to find out if he will become the first Big Brother housemate to be booted out in the public vote tomorrow night. He goes head to head with loudmouthed contestant Sophia, who looks favourite for the chop.

Freddie, meanwhile, might have changed his name by deed poll to Halfwit, but the entrepreneur was named as the most intelligent person on Big Brother.

With sexual frustration bubbling under after a week in the house, Shrewsbury hunk Kris Donnelly was at the centre of a battle for his affections between Sophie and Saffia.

The spat started when 20-year-old Sophie got intimate with Kris, 24, and began stroking and massaging his back. Kris later returned the favour by rubbing her back.

The act prompted mum-of-two Saffia to beg Kris to jump into bed with her – and the Shrewsbury womaniser appeared happy to go along with the antics.

Big Brother was last night at the centre of controversy when hairy Wolverine look-a-like Marcus threw temper tantrums, with Brazilian housemate Rodrigo fearing he would hit someone.
