Day Six in the Big Brother House
Tuesday 9th June 2009, 12:30PM BST.
The prospect of eviction was already on the minds of Shropshire’s Big Brother contestants facing today’s round of nominations.
The constant scrutiny of the cameras was clearly affecting Market Drayton housemate Freddie Fisher, aka Halfwit, who worried what viewers thought about him making dinner for the other contestants.
The 23-year-old entrepreneur, who changed his name by deed poll to Halfwit in the first days of the show, said: “If you cook a meal for lots of people, people might think it’s to make people happy, that it’s a game plan. But if I don’t cook for lots of people it’s inefficient use of time and resources.”
And as Shrewsbury womaniser Kris Donnelly, 24, played up to the cameras during a booze-fuelled party, housemate Sophia said she thought the house was being run by a trio of Kris, Saffia and Charlie.
And glamour model Sophie, who changed her name to Dogface, agreed, saying: “I think they put on a bit of a show for the cameras. Pushing each other in the water. They’re just acting up. They’re not themselves.”
Love was in the air in the house following the tensions of the first eviction, with Kris and Halfwit talking about who they fancied.
Saffia questioned Halfwit over who he was attracted to, but the amicable toff simply gurned and kept her guessing. Last night viewers saw housemates partying in style with treats of booze and pizza following the tensions and hardships of the first few days leading up to the first eviction.
Karly and Kris enjoyed a hug in the kitchen but Karly joked that their fake relationship would not be tolerated by Big Brother.
