Shropshire suffered a washout weekend with torrential rain – but temperatures look set to rise by the end of the week.
Vintage vehicle enthusiasts in Shrewsbury braved the downpours for an annual rally held over the weekend, which attracted visitors from across the UK.

About 1,200 vehicles were on show at the West Mid Showground for the rally, which celebrated its 22nd year.
Rally organiser Derek Sheedy said the rain had not put people off attending as most had come prepared with wet weather gear and were determined to keep their spirits up.
Shropshire Star weatherman John Warner said temperatures in the county yesterday were only 8.5C (47F) and about 1.5 inches of rain fell.
Tonight will be clear at first but then heavy rain will start falling in east and south Shropshire by dawn and temperatures will reach just 13C (55F).
Tomorrow will be the worst day of the week with further rain, but will not be as cold as the weekend.
Wednesday and Thursday will see cloud with sunny spells and temperatures reaching 17C (63F).
Mr Warner said: “There will be some rain on Wednesday night but it will clear up by Thursday morning.
“Friday will be the best day of the week, with temperatures above average for this time of year at 20C (68F) and sunny intervals.”
