Victim still critically ill

A 29-year-old man is still critically ill in hospital one week after being attacked by three men in Wellington, police said.
The victim was discovered with multiple injuries on the pavement in Urban Gardens, Wellington, last Monday morning.
Chris Ammonds, police spokesman, said today: “Police carried out anniversary checks around the streets of Wellington last night at about 4am.
“Things were very quiet and we are still continuing with our investigations.”
Police are looking for three Asian men in connection with the attack.
