I wonder, are the storm clouds gathering over Shropshire this afternoon significant?

It seems to me the labour party did not try very hard with the local elections. I also find it a shame when only one candidate stands for an area they may not do a very good job however it seems nobody wants or can be bothered to stand against them apathy is abound when it comes to local elections and it is dangerous to assume it would reflect a general election. It also seems to me it has been a very poor turn out.

Can anyone tell me what is happening in the leebotwood parish council elections. In the morning when I voted everyone was asked to vote for 4 people out of the candidates.I queried this at the time as I was led to believe that only Leebotwood people could vote in that particular election. After 4.30pm. only people in Leebotwood were given a ballot paper. What is going on?
