The count was held at the Sundorne Sports Village in Shrewsbury. The count was to start at 12.30pm, but technical delays meant it did not beginuntil after 4pm. Malcolm Pate, the former leader of the County Council, has called for an investigation into the delay. Pictures by Mark Booth.
