A holidaymaker is set to prove “we are not alone” after capturing UFOs on camera across Shropshire.

Col Foster is a regular visitor to the region because, he claims, the county is a great place to spot unidentified objects in the sky.

Col said he found south Shropshire was the perfect place to indulge in his hobby of “sky fishing” which involves pointing a camera at the sky and taking thousands of images.

Recently, he has taken pictures of UFOs in the sky over Bridgnorth, Tenbury Wells and Clee Hill.

But Col’s favourite UFO pictures were taken in Cookley when he captured what appeared to be an unidentified airbourne object close to a helicopter.

He said: “I studied UFO research very deeply, and I remember a very interesting passage I read.

“If you ever see helicopters, police or military just hovering as if they were chasing criminals, always take a few photos of the helicopter, you will be surprised what you may find.”

Col, from Wordsley, Stourbridge, often comes camping in Shropshire with his brother, Adam, to take part in his favourite pastime.

“I am an avid sky watcher anyway and I do a lot of sky fishing. We were camping in Hampton Loade on the bank holiday weekend and I started taking pictures of the sky,” he said.

“Often you can see something unusual when you look at the pictures on the computer.

“I was taking pictures of the sky. I did not see anything at the time. You could not see it with the naked eye.”

Col, who has a keen interest in capturing ghosts, orbs and UFOs on camera, said he always carried his camera with him everywhere.

He explained why he liked to go sky fishing in the sky over Shopshire.

Col said: “It is a good hunting ground in Shropshire especially over Clee Hill.

“There used to be a military installation on the top of the hill and that has been buzzing with UFO activity. There have been quite a few sightings over the Clee Hill area.”

And, although Col often thinks he is taking a picture of an empty sky, he said when he examined the images more closely he realised they had produced amazing results.

He added: “My friends used to think I was strange but now they are starting to see the sort of things I have picked up.”
