Holt has Town job to do

Shrewsbury Town talisman Grant Holt today insisted he will be fit to start the new season – and insists he has unfinished business with the club.
Holt underwent ankle surgery last week after scoring 28 goals in his first season at the Prostar Stadium.
But he is confident he will be fit to start the new campaign.
And, while he is sure to be the subject of summer speculation, he offered no indications of intending to move on from the club.
“I came here to do a job and, like all the lads, I wanted to be playing in a higher division next season,” he said.
“It’s disappointing when you look at the teams we could have been playing but it wasn’t to be and we have to go again next season.
“I’m sure the manager is looking to bring people in and I’m looking forward to getting back and trying to crack what eluded us this season.
“I’ve had the operation and it seems to have gone okay.
“I’ve got to have my foot in a cast for the next few days and it’s a bit swollen but everything seems okay.
“I had the problem for the last three months but it was just a case of monitoring it and getting through to the end of the season before I could have the operation.
“I will probably miss the first two weeks of pre-season but that will still give me three or four weeks to get ready for the start of the season, which should be fine.”
Despite finding the net 28 times, Holt admitted there were still areas of his game he is looking to sharpen up on next term.
“The season went well for me in terms of goals and I will be looking to emulate that next season,” he added.
“There are still things I want to work on and I was a bit critical of my finishing at times as well so that is something I will be looking to work on.”
Meanwhile, departed midfielder Steven Hindmarch has been linked with a move to Blue Square North club Workington after being released from the Prostar Stadium last week.
