Wolves star, Chris Iwelumo, performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony when he officially opened a new children’s nursery in Shifnal on Saturday.

The Scottish international striker performed the honours at Hopscotch Nursery in the grounds of Shifnal Primary School.

The nursery used to be known as Horton Lodge Nursery, but it moved premises in January.

Chris is seen with eight-year-old Holly Rosser, who designed the nursery’s new logo.
