The warm weather is bringing out Shropshire’s wildlife in fine style.
This Broad-bodied Chaser dragonfly was photographed by Bob Carter, of Coundmoor.
A quick search on the internet soon reveals that this type of dragonfly is mainly found in Wales and southern England and will be about until August.
