Costa store in offing for town

Coffee giant Costa has made a bid to open a branch in Bridgnorth, creating up to 10 jobs.

The chain has submitted a planning application to use the former Co-op supermarket building in High Town.

A spokeswoman for Costa said it would be delighted to open a store but “nothing can be confirmed at this stage”.
