Rob back in county fold
Tuesday 26th May 2009, 1:28PM BST.
Shrewsbury all-rounder Rob Foster will make his first Shropshire Minor Counties appearance of the season in this weekend’s crucial Minor Counties Trophy showdown at Oxfordshire.
Foster has been ruled out until now by Cardiff University commitments but has been named in the 12 for the trip to Challow & Childrey on Sunday.
Duncan Catterall also comes back into the team, with Adam Shimmons and Michael Barnard are the two names missing from the squad which defeated Cheshire at Wem last week.
The winner of Sunday’s showdown will join Bedfordshire in moving through to the quarter-finals of the 50-overs-per-side competition.
