Simpson’s Wembley dilemma

Shrewsbury Town manager Paul Simpson looks set to have a 21-man squad to select from for Shrewsbury’s big Wembley showdown with Gillingham.
Mike Jackson and Steve Leslie are definitely ruled out through injury and suspension, while Dave Hibbert has emerged as a doubt with a foot injury.
Simpson is aware he still faces a tough final selection, but insists he faces the same dilemma every week.
“As a manager, it is always a hard thing because you know that, whatever the game is, people are desperate to be involved,” said the Town boss.
“I have to accept that there are going to be people who think I’m wrong and out of order because I don’t include them.
“But that’s something you just have to live with.
“It’s about picking the right team and the subs to give us as many options as possible.
“If we do get the result, everyone will benefit because everyone has played a part and will then have it on the CV.”
