About 6,500 tickets have been sold for the game against Gillingham already to eager Town season ticket holders and Sovereign Club members desperate to ensure they get a seat to cheer on the club in one of its biggest games ever.
The ticket office will open 24 hours earlier tomorrow to give non-season ticket and Sovereign Club members a chance to get a ticket.
Nearly 4,000 tickets were snapped up by lunchtime yesterday for the final on May 23 with the club revealing it expects its allocation to sell-out.
Eager fans queued outside the club’s Prostar Stadium from as early as 5.40am yesterday to secure the best seats in the house for the team’s play-off final at the national stadium.
Shrewsbury was granted an initial allocation of 21,000 tickets which has now been increased to 25,000, compared with 38,000 given to Gillingham.
Yesterday was the first time people had been able to get their tickets in person for the crunch match.
