Peter Rabbit comes to life
Tuesday 12th May 2009, 9:55AM BST.
A very special family show is on stage at Shrewsbury Theatre Severn on Saturday May 16.
The Tales of Peter Rabbit brings to life the amazing books of Beatrix Potter through new songs with beautifully designed scenery and costumes.
The Tales feature many of Beatrix Potter’s lovely characters: Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny, who cannot help but go where they shouldn’t and just when Mr McGregor is looking for the ingredients for a rabbit pie!
They will undoubtedly meet with other familiar and friendly faces including Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, Jemima Puddle-Duck and Tom Kitten.
Jan Edmondson from Theatre Severn said “This production has been designed for Peter Rabbit fans, young or old, and will be narrated by our very own Beatrix Potter. These Saturday afternoon shows will give a great opportunity for families to experience live theatre together.”
Peter Rabbit and friends are on stage in The Auditorium at Theatre Severn on Saturday May 16th at 1pm and 3.30pm and tickets priced £9.50 can be booked either from the Box Office at Theatre Severn (01743 281281), or online at www.theatresevern.co.uk.
